My story
Adoption Donation: $75. Visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/cat-adoption-application/ to apply.

Looking for a lovely lap cat to cuddle up with and keep you warm? Houdini says: pick me! This precious gal is a 5-year-old, 13-pound Domestic Short Hair mix with a lovely black and white tuxedo cat printed coat. Laidback and relaxed are the two descriptors we'd give you regarding this gal. She is a window watcher and adores sitting on her cat tower just gazing out and watching the birds and bees. Houdini tells us she may be dressed like a magician, but she isn't at all a tricky cat, she is very predictable in fact, in that she's never hard to find in her lounging spots around the house. She is a catnip queen but not really a fan of toys or playtime otherwise. She is an affectionate gal on her terms and for short terms but will let you know if and when she wants snuggles. She needs a home with no kids as she is not a fan of lots of hustle and bustle and prefers a quiet household. Houdini will be shy when she first meets new spaces and people but she warms up once given plenty of time and tenderness. She has lived with other cats but prefers to be the only one, however she would likely be just fine living with other older cats like her who prefer a life of leisure versus activity and play. Do you think you have a perfect home for Houdini? If so, help us make her disappear from our adoption listings, and apply to adopt today!
